Dear Nicole,
I am so grateful for going on a walk with you during out first night at Tech. After that night we began to create a budding friendship, that became even stronger once we both became sisters at Alpha Xi Delta. I wouldn’t trade our friendship for the world, it has brought me so much knowledge and perspective, in addition to the everlasting memories that we have made. From being my library study buddy everyday and grabbing Alpha Xi lunch, to dancing in the rain on top of the parking deck, I have loved every second of our adventures.
It is crazy to me that I have only known you for a year. Since meeting you and becoming sisters, the connection we have made feels almost as if I have known you my whole life. You are my shoulder to cry on when I am feeling down, you are my biggest supporter when I am in need of a pep talk, and you are my dynamic duo whenever I am wanting to go on an adventure. You are one of the most dedicated people I have ever met. You have a great passion and a strong drive towards achieving your goals and I know that is going to lead you to do amazing things in the future. In addition to your work ethic, you are also one of the most understanding and selfless people I have ever met. You have always been there for me, even the one time I was having a breakdown in the CULC. That’s the thing that means the most, no matter what happens, no matter who it is, you are always there. And for that I love ya!
Given that the last year has been an amazing time filled with growth and adventure, I cannot wait to be your roommate next year. I am so excited to have you by my side again this year to go on trips in the city or late night study trips in the CULC. Here’s to our sisterhood and friendship becoming even stronger, & here’s to growing and learning together while we navigate our next three years at Tech!
