Academic Mentorship

Our chapter prides ourselves on being academically competitive in the Greek community and within Georgia Tech as a whole. Our commitment to academic excellence provides support for individual sisters and encouragement for the entire chapter. Every new member is matched with an academic mentor in her major to help her adjust to classes and plan ahead for upcoming registration.

We also reward sisters for high scholarship throughout the semester in addition to recognizing strong GPA's, Deans List, and Faculty Honors.

Our house has a spacious and quiet library that sisters can utilize as a study space, and one can always find sisters hanging out in the parlor working on schoolwork. Moreover, our Academic Achievement Director frequently books study spaces in the Clough Undergraduate Learning Commons so that sisters can have a spot to study during the school year.

Classes at Tech may be tough at times, but the resources and support provided within Alpha Xi Delta allow every member to realize her potential and succeed.

Study Abroad

"A journey is best measured in friends, rather than miles." - Tim Cahill

Every semester, sisters travel all around the world to pursue their studies in a different country. Whether we travel alone or together, we strive to realize our potential and cherish new experiences on our adventures and journeys. Having traveled on multiple different programs like Georgia Tech’s Lorraine Campus in France, the Oxford summer program, French Language for Business and Technology program (LBAT), Spanish Language for Business and Technology program (LBAT), and many more, we always miss our sisters when they’re away and look forward to hearing about their adventures abroad!

Working Women

Not only does our chapter want to see each member succeed academically while at Georgia Tech, but it creates a strong network of women in the workforce following graduation. Many of our members work together at companies like Delta, Coca-Cola, Deloitte, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and numerous others. Although we are sad to see our members leave, our chapter wants nothing more than for the powerful women of Gamma Eta to accomplish their professional goals and be proud of their successes!
