Must-See Atlanta Spots by Anoushka Satoskar!

Hey guys!!

Since we’re so close to moving back home to Georgia Tech, I wanted to highlight some of my favorite spots in the Atlanta area that you simply HAVE to go visit!

Atlanta Must-Sees

The Midtown Beltline and Ponce City Market

Super trendy, fun spot for really good places to eat and cute spots to take pics! Literally one of my favorite places to go in Midtown and super close to campus. 

Piedmont Park

Great spot for a picnics and lots of cute dogs…... What’s not to love! Also - for people who love to run - the run from campus to the park is so close and so pretty. Definitely beats the hilly terrain of Metro Atlanta. 

Krog Street

This place is a little farther from campus but same vibes as Ponce. There are lots cool restaurants here too. 

The King Center

Martin Luther King was from Atlanta, and Atlanta has so many spots to learn more about the Civil Rights movement, including The King Center

Jackson Street Bridge

Has literally the best view of the skyline! Definitely a spot to take some really sick pictures. 

Sweet Auburn Market

More lowkey and less tourist-y… go here for AMAZING food!

Little Five Points

Super  trendy spot in Atlanta with some really unique shops and restaurants. An amazing coffee shop is there also - Aurora Coffee!

Atlanta Humane Society

It’s right off campus and you can pet the puppies! They are always looking for volunteers so definitely a place to visit on the weekend if you’re looking for something to do. 

Westside

This place literally has some of my favorite restaurants. Some of my personal favorites are Taqueria del Sol, Jeni’s and Upbeet! Definitely a place to go if you ever get tired of eating dining hall food.
